- Register with Royal College of Anaesthetists (RCOA) If you are on the ACCS programme, you’ll already have done this if anaesthesia is your parent specialty and you don’t need to do this if it isn’t. The Royal College has a Lifelong Learning Platform (LLP) which you require to use. This includes a logbook. - Register with RCOA for e-learning https://www.rcoa.ac.uk/e-learning-anaesthesia this is now merged into e-LfH which is run by HEE. Just make sure you can access the anaesthetic modules.
- Make sure you can log in to TURAS, and ideally change your TURAS account email address to your highland @nhs.scot one.
- Meet with Educational Supervisor, create a wellness action plan, document your personal development plan.
- Register with a GP
- Apply for an ID Badge, you should get an email about this, possibly asking for a photograph
- Check that your IT access works, including @nhs.scot email. Check that you have access to the anaesthetic shared drive and check that you have been added to the NHSH Anaesthesia TEAM (by Microsoft). Check that you can access highland.clwrota.com
