- MultiSpecialty Recruitment Assessment (MSRA) is an exam used for short listing CT1s
- There are preparatory materials available. Tis an exam of two parts.
- this years results – 3182 sat the exam with an application in for anaesthetics. 900 were invited to interview. The exam result constitutes 15% of the final score.
- One Part – Clinical Problem Solving – Only 1 Single Best Answer to a clinical question
- Other Part – Professional Dilemma/Situational Judgment Test – Either Rank options or pick 3 best options from 8 possibilities.
- Next year they will analyse 3 years worth of MSRA performance as to whether it correlates with interview scores, ARCP outcomes, and attainment of the FRCA primary.
